DFW July 4th Weekend

We drove to Plano & visited my new Newphew Kia
& his parents in Plano this Fourth of July Weekend!

Saturday- 8lunch@ Kenny's Burgers - Witnessed a El Jefe Challenge ! - Jefe won - The whole burger weighs in at a massive 7 pounds — and over 7,000 calories.

Mom Chris and Lauren went to the hospital to see Kai -So Tyler and I went to the Stone Briar Mall they have EVERYTHING! & This is where I acquired my new reefs.

Sunday (8lunch@P.F. Chang's :) then the boys staked out primo spots atop parking garage in Addison to View Kaboom Town. 3rd Largest Firework Show in America
Here's a few Clips from our view!
We Had the Best spots for the show - the flush of 250,000 + spectators left us stranded on top a clogged parking garage. To pass time
we hiked over to The Mucky Duck Photoand squeezed in
(literally, place is popular!)
The current of people flowed us through the bar to a relaxing back patio w/ fire pit
Overlooking apartment balconies, public pedestrian sideways, and views into a open parking garages make for unintentional voyeuristic late-night sights.
but Overall a Great Place to end the night-

Been There.. Done That- Sipapu/Taos, NM

Five of us packed into the truck Thursday night with our skis and boards & made 3day weekend ski trip to the land of enchantment
Sipapu/Taos, New Mexico - December 2010
Tyler wasn't to graceful on Ski's, but he did rock the Ski Bike
we Stayed @ the El Monte Sagrado El Monte Sagrado Global Suites Exterior
in a Global suite -The Texas Suite
2 bedroom Villa w/ private courtyard & hot tub! *aka*- Awesome!
Thanks Randy & Matt for the Marriott family discount :)
Aqua CenterWe met a few interesting people while trying to recover from falling down the mountain :)
The hotel's artsy snake bar is nice- but frowns on bringing your own wine and using their glasses. (FYI:)

The nightlife gods weren't so gracious this trip around Taos
The Concierge shuttled us to a downtown bar (the alley bar) tucked in a back corner of a pueblo shoping center,
where they wanted us to pay $15 & it was closing in 30 min.
So we bounced in the shuttle to the Taos Casino
...where they just closed the tables :(
So we went back to the hotel and enjoyed our hot tub
& sweet tea vodka :)

On the way home we cured everyone's gambling blue balls by stopping
@ The Ohkay Casino in Santa Fe

I kept it frugal @ The Ohkay Casino bar while the team brought back the big bucks

Here are a few clips automovied from pics from the weekend

& Here's a map of our adventures
